The Valentin Pica II 104/8 print head is a factory/approved replacement component for the Pica II and Vita II models. 104 "represents the nominal printable width (~104 mm), and"/8 "represents the 8 dots/mm class (usually referred to as~203 dpi). The supplier list and Valentin spare parts list identify part numbers, such as 37.04.1156 (also displayed as 37041156), which simplifies procurement and service ordering.
Main Features and Advantages
With a width of approximately 104 millimeters, you can print multiple lines of components/traceability blocks, logos with dates/batches, or multiple barcodes in one print.
~203 dpi (8 dots/mm) is a good trade-off between readable barcode/2D codes and consumable/part costs - it supports clear and readable text and standard 1D/2D codes without the price of a 300 dpi print head.
Sold as an OEM Valentin spare part (37.04.1156), it is a plug-in replacement for Pica II/Vita II 104/8 devices, reducing calibration troubles and shortening downtime.
