Domino V120i printhead is Domino's small-sized TTO solution, aimed at customers who are transitioning from hot stamping or old coding technology to digital printing for flexible packaging (bags, labels, pouches, stickers, packaging). It provides high-resolution variable data (text, barcode, QR code, logo) and is designed for simple installation and low operating costs.
Main Features and Advantages
300dpi can generate clear small text, detailed logos, and reliable QR codes, which is a big step higher than hot stamping quality. This reduces waste and improves traceability.
One of the smallest TTO units in its class, making it easy to retrofit onto flow packaging machines, bag making machines, and labeling machines in tight space.
Compared to hot stamping, digital TTO typically reduces consumable waste and allows for the use of longer ribbons (Domino's document emphasizes the economic advantages of ribbons), thereby reducing operating costs per print. Compared to previous technologies, the use of ribbon has decreased, which is useful for achieving sustainable development goals.
Integrated print head heaters and other functions help maintain print consistency at low operating temperatures and speed changes.
