TSC Alpha-4L 98-0520004-00LF is a true OEM thermal print head designed specifically for TSC's Alpha-4L 4-inch mobile label printer. It is a 203 dpi (8 dots/mm) direct thermal print head that can print clear, high-resolution barcode labels and receipts. This module supports Alpha-4L's full 4.09-inch (104 mm) high-speed printing width (up to 102 mm) mm/s, which is 4 ips, while maintaining sharp and uniform output.
Main Features and Advantages
Supports the maximum printing speed of Alpha-4L (~4ips), enabling mobile workers to quickly generate labels or receipts. The combination of high speed and high resolution means productivity and readability.
Thermal intelligent control (patented) dynamically adjusts heating to prevent hotspots, so each label can be printed evenly. This feature can improve output clarity and extend the lifespan of the print head
The print head is installed in the sturdy casing of Alpha-4L and comes with a dust-proof/waterproof cover. The printer (and print head) has passed a 1.5 mm drop test on concrete, proving that a sturdy structure can protect the heating element from impact and vibration.
TSC's temperature management minimizes overheating and reduces wear on head components to the greatest extent possible. This increases the expected lifespan of the head under frequent use.
