A printhead is a component on a printed circuit board (PCB) that features one or more rows of small corotrons. These discharge electricity onto the printer paper, generating temperatures of approximately 200°C. This vaporizes the ink and sprays it onto the paper, forming text and images. A printhead consists of ink nozzles, a nozzle plate, and ink tubes. Printheads are generally categorized as vertical or horizontal, depending on the direction of ink ejection.
