Home inkjet printer users may have experienced clogged print heads at some point, disrupting their printing experience and leaving them feeling helpless. However, don't worry! Today, we'll introduce two practical solutions to easily resolve the problem of clogged print heads.

Program Cleaning Method

Preferred Method: Program Cleaning. We recommend cleaning the print heads using the program. This method is both simple and quick. If the clogged print heads are not severely blocked and images are printing normally, you can choose this method. Typically, the printer driver and application provide a cleaning function that can quickly and effectively clean the print heads.

Here, we'll use the driver as an example to explain the steps in detail. First, locate the printer in the Control Panel and open its preferences. Next, click the Utility tab and perform the Nozzle Check function in the upper-left corner. The printer will print a sheet containing a skewed mesh pattern, allowing you to clearly see any broken or missing lines. If such problems are observed, perform a nozzle cleaning by clicking the second button in the upper-left corner.

After cleaning, print the nozzle check pattern again to see if there's any improvement and whether the lines are complete. If the image is still incomplete, repeat the cleaning steps until the pattern returns to normal.

Manual Cleaning Method
You can also try manual cleaning. First, remove the printer ink cartridge. Prepare warm water (50-60°C) in a clean, transparent cup. Then, submerge the nozzle at the bottom of the cartridge in the water for 10-30 minutes. Be careful to only partially immerse the nozzle; avoid submerging the entire cartridge. After soaking, remove the nozzle and print a test page to verify the cleaning results.

Mastering these two methods will help you easily resolve printer clogs. If you encounter such a situation, remain calm and find the appropriate solution or contact official after-sales support.
