The print head of 6230 is a single head thermal sensor within the Videojet 6230 TTO. This platform is aimed at manufacturers who replace hot stamping or traditional encoders in situations where footprint, simplicity, and predictable operating costs are important. The system supports intermittent and continuous printing modes, controlled by Videojet's CLARiTY style touchscreen for WYSIWYG job selection.

The small cash box, direct ribbon path, and airless operation make the 6230 easy for operators to load and maintain - with fewer parts, easy replacement, and reduced training burden and downtime.
The Videojet 6230 32mm print head balances the readability and cost of standard date/batch/1D/2D printing on snack bags, pouches, and many label applications. It is positioned as an economical and efficient alternative to hot stamping machines.
Compared to old small box systems, the long ribbon option (700 meters) and simple ribbon handling mean fewer ribbon exchanges and fewer line interruptions.
Electronic ribbon control and solid-state mechanism reduce ribbon breakage and the need for compressed air, improve normal operating time, and reduce maintenance complexity.
