The Videojet DataMlex 6420 printhead, as a high-throughput TTO model, is located at the top of the Videojet DataMlex series. Its design purpose is to print larger multi line date/batch blocks, logos, and multiple barcodes (with 53mm or 107mm print head options) in one print, while keeping pace with demanding VFFS/HFS and filling machines where production line speed, reliability, and low intervention are crucial. The hardware and firmware have been adjusted for intermittent and continuous printing modes, and are easy to integrate into production control.
Main Features and Advantages
The 107mm print head option allows you to replace multiple narrow print stations with one print head, which can print logos, multiple rows of components/traceability blocks, and multiple barcodes in one trip, simplifying mechanical integration and reducing cycle time issues.
Maintains high resolution at wide head and high line speeds, so small regulatory texts and dense 2D code are still machine-readable and validated automatically.
Videojet's DataMlex platform emphasizes powerful ribbon handling, precise motion control, and easy daily maintenance, making ribbon replacement and head cleaning quick and predictable. This reduces unplanned downtime on large-scale production lines.
Long ribbon support and ribbon save mode reduce conversion frequency, lowering the cost of printing each time for continuous large-scale operation.
