Product Description
The Videojet 9550 LPA print head is a thermal sensor used in the Videojet 9550 printing and application system. As a heat transfer head, it converts precise local heat into ink transfer from the ribbon to the label medium, producing clear text, logos, and machine-readable barcodes at a resolution of 300dpi. This print head has multiple widths to choose from, so integrators can print everything from narrow labels to very wide multi line information blocks in one print.
Main Features and Advantages
Videojet 9550 LPA printhead produces clear alphanumeric characters, dense 1D/2D codes, and fine logos through automatic verification and traceability checks.
The wider print head allows for one-way printing of multiple rows of components/traceability blocks and multiple barcodes, eliminating the need for multiple printing stations and simplifying mechanical layout.
Videojet's control of print head pressure/force and print mode can reduce abrasive wear and set appropriate force/darkness for the current speed, which helps reduce point failures and extend print head lifespan.
Videojet 9550 LPA printhead is designed specifically for label printing and application environments (direct application, automatic roll paper/label tension control), resulting in fewer impact/printing errors seen by the head during label processing, thereby improving the OEE at the applicator level.
